2. Providence- 2 champs, good tourny & dual team ? down low
3. Plainfield Central- right there with top 2
4. Lockport- nice line-up
5. OPRF- defending champs are a better tourny team than a dual team
6. Mt. Carmel- CCL will be closer than most think
7. Nequa Valley- another great tourny team ? up high
8. Grant- 3 other state qualifiers to go with the 2 time champ
9. Barrington- sleeper pick, 4 solid guys + some returning starters
10. Lyons - better dual team than tourny
11. Leyden- 1 State placer to lead 8 sectional qualifiers
12. Libertyville- well coached always right there.
13. Sandburg- very tough big guys
14. Edwardsville- will do the new building proud
15. Harlem- hope to have 2 finalists
16. Marist- solid team in duals
17. Granite City- could be higher if rumors are true
18. GBN- young team that will probably finish season higher
19. Wheeling- Smiths need help
20. Hononegah- always a threat
21.Naperville Central- will they make state again?
22. St. Rita- Akui leads the way
23. Hinsdale Central- lost a few but still solid
24. Brother Rice- good tourny team
25. Batavia- nice addition to the staff return a bunch of starters
